We just tried to do that 'my dogs mouth is so soft it can hold an egg' thing and goose held the egg in his mouth, spit it out, and then proceeded to swallow half of it without chewing.

My mother would rather have me homeless and sleeping in my car than take in me and my dog.
Some family.
"but mom... I know you just let me in, but there's a rock I forgot to bark at..."
Sometimes it frustrates me so much that it so hard to walk my dog.
I don't want to throw out $900 for obedience class but I feel like I have too.
Also today Junior the pitbull was trying to hump one if the other dogs, (I didn't see who but I'd say it was probably Scout the Lab) and Jamie pulled him off of her of course but after a little while she noticed that his junk was still out and it had somehow gotten stuck in the out position... Worst of all, John had to readjust for Junior so it would go back in. Sometimes my job can get a little odd to say the least.

Waking Chelsea up early
It's always difficult waking Chelsea up anytime before noon. Of course I can pop out of bed, grab dirty clothes and throw them in the laundry on my way to the kitchen to make breakfast, but some people aren't like that. So instead of waking her as I normally do, which probably seems violent to someone who is abrasively woken from a deep sleep, I'm just going to kiss her gently every five minutes or so, without saying anything. I tried it this morning and she woke up around 9. Of course she's been waking up early cause she's had early meetings at work, but my theory is that a gentle kiss every few minutes will wake her more easily and she'll be in a good mood. The next step is figuring out how to kiss Chelsea every few minutes without Frida's help.Â
Yesterday, someone came to pick up Duke. Everything was going fine, and then he started showing aggressive behavior. We thought it was just being around new dogs but it kept getting worse despite separation time outs after it occurred. Monday night, Elli, the oldest dog was just laying on the floor and he attacked her for no reason. He took a chunk out of her back and there was literally blood everywhere. Every time she shook herself, blood would splatter everywhere. Crosby wouldn't even look at him or walk by him and Elli would shake every time he was in the room with her. I feel like I failed a dog for the first time in my life, but I couldn't endanger my dogs anymore. He chewed through the basement door already, so it's not like we could keep him down there. He jumped the fence like it was play time, so we couldn't keep him in the yard and now especially since it's freezing. I'm just really upset about it and feel like a piece of shit :(
One thing I hate the most is when people look at my 4 month old pitbull and automatically think she's going to bite them...😒
