Flutterig in the wind
//So, I wrote this because I need my dear family to cheer up. It's not the best I've wrotten but I've been wanting to do something with that song since forever
Despite how much he enjoyed playing with kids, Sinbad wasn't ready to be a father. Especially not at age fifteen, especially not with a child that was barely a couple of years younger than him. He wanted to be more like a big brother for the little child with white-hair that he could swear looked to be about seven despite his real age, but the kid knew only how to kill. He had to make sure he ate, he bathed, he didn't wondered and got into troubles, because the kid knew no wrong from right.
When Masrur joined, he thought he'd go insane. He was a great kid, loyal as he can be, but he was as strong as five men and so it was extremely hard to keep up with him, and Sinbad hated the feeling of being weak.
The only way to keep them crowded together was in the peice of field that he'd planned to turn into the courtyard of his new crazy proyect. He could gather them there and let them play under his watch, until Sharrkan and Yamuraiha ended up in the ground wrestling and Masrur destroyed another piece of wall by accident. The only relief he had was that Ja'far had finally learnt how to behave like a real diplomatic and could keep an eye on them as well as he managed the incredible ability of multitasking.
By the end of the day, half the construction was destroyed, half the bushes he'd plant during the morning torn appart, but the screams had quietened. The sunset breeze under the big old tree was nice, and so was the song he'd learnt. It all started with a little hum, because Sinbad liked to remember the song his mother used to sing to him when she was strong enough, and soon, Pisti had joined. She had a beautiful voice, just like everybody in Artemuya he'd ever met.
When the season spins around and around,
Ja'far was a little bit skeptical but as soon as Sharrkan punched his arm he had to join as well. Yamuraiha's voice was soft but too low, and Masrur's grunts were strange but pleasant.
Please keep all of our ties close where they can be found
"Hey Sin?" Ja'far asked when most of them had already fallen asleep, and Hinahoho's impressive physique had turned out to be a very pleasant pillow.
"Yes, Jaf?" he hated being called like that, he could see it by the way his nose still wrinkled, but Sinbad just let out a chuckle.
"We're going to be fine...right? I mean, with things being as they are...and this crazy idea you have about Sindria..."
Sinbad let out another chuckle and caressed Pisti's hair slightly when her head went to rest on his lap "Of course Jaf, didn't I tell you? This is just the beginning of our story!" he playfully punched the younger boy's back and Ja'far almost fell forward on Masrur's face.
Tightly, tightly you must hold them near
Or else theyâll disappear
"We're gonna be fine..."
pistichan said: but thatâs true! i donât really get the people hereâŠ
"I really appreciate the compliment, but I should let you know, that a big chest doesn't equal beauty. Everybody has their own definition of beauty" the magician giggled.
Fluttering, Fluttering
âWhatâs wrong, Yamu?â she says, worried, looking at the friend who is sobbing in her lap.
She puts an hand on her head, ruffling her hair.
âYamu, donât cry~ Youâll make me sad!~â she says, smiling and giggling, trying to hide her worry. But Yamu doesnât stop sobbing, and Pisti is feeling more and more helpless.
âIâll sing something for you, so youâll feel better!â she says, suddenly.
Pisti loves singing and she has learned a lot of songs, but she knows which one is the perfect right now.
âWhen the season spins around and around, Please keep all of our ties close where they can be found Tightly, tightly you must hold them near Or else theyâll disappear âŠÂ âÂ
It was one of the songs they used to sing when they were younger, in those precious moments they passed together. They used to sing this under a tree and snuggled to Sinbad, who at that time was less a King and more a big brother for them all.
Pisti keeps singing, while holding Yamu tightly.
She remembers the song, yes. She knows the lyrics, she knows the tune. They used to sit under that tree in the garden, and she fell asleep snuggled against Ja'far and Sinbad, and it seemed as nothing bad could ever happen to them. Because they were together.
But now it was all...fluttering away. Yes, fluttering away.
How ironic.
The magician pressed her cheek agaist the girl's lap as more tears fell down her face, and even though se wanted to dry them away as soon as possible, her body refused to cooperate. It just felt too weak to react right now...
Choking back a little sob, she focused on listening to Pisti's voice, light and soft, and she just wanted to forget everything and turn things to the way they used to be, before the Kou Empire, before Al Sarmen, before everything had turned Sindria into a piece of land under attack instead of a...home.
Pinned down from the weight of words that filled me with regret
They would be so hard to forget
I fell into a blissful dream that gave me so much content
Only to wake up and not know where you went
The words came out as a little whisper, but she still knew the lyrics...she still wanted to sing under the tree once more.
pistichan said: yamu, you should relax. if you keep working like this, youâll end up like jaâfar-san! forget work and letâs go somewhere. (and by the way, arenât you hot? /pistiâs going around with her shirt untied)
Pisti, for Solomon's sake tie your shirt back before Ja'far sees you!
Someone has to do it, and if it's not Ja'far, who do you think it'll be? Sinbad? Masrur? Sharrkan? that's funny. Maybe if this was a drinking contest. I've always helped Ja'far with everything, I just wanted to be useful for once, you know? So it's my job, I have to, otherwise the palace will crash! I have no other choice, and it's okay, but then I'm just treated as a party-ruiner, and maybe Ja'far's already used to it, but I think I deserve some credit.
Ugh, I'm so sorry for this rant Pisti! I just don't know what's wrong with me lately, everything just makes me feel so tired...uh? go where? and it's not hot in here, it's not even summer!"

"Pisti... No. You shouldn't be here..." he could already feel his desire building up, his mind losing the battle with his body. Masrur cupped his face to hide his troubled face, closed his eyes but all he could see was Pisti before him. "Nnnh...," he could already imagine it.
Pisti, I think I need a drink already...being the only responsible being around is getting my stress levels off the roof.
pistichan replied to your post:
While I was out, I found him (she shows her a pigeon). He said that he used to be a human but someone âcursedâ him and so he became a bird. Can you do something for him? He doesnât remember anything!!
Raising an eyebrow with a curious expression, the magician leaned in to take a better look at the animal in Pisti's hands. There was something disturbingly familiar about that pigeon...but if she only could put her finger on it!
"Where did you find it?" her eyebrows furrowed "A cursed human? Wait, what did he exactly tell you?"
