What concerns me the most, and it's on a personal level, is that if everyone starts leaving/stop doing pony, then I'm going to start losing friends I've made in the fandom. Pony was the only thing I really had in common with most everyone and it's been tough to get into what everyone else is into and vice versa. I just don't want to lose friendships.

See Teej, the thing about friendship is this: You don’t have to like the same thing as your friends. Pretty sure this was an MLP:FiM episode too. You know, the one about Rarity and Rainbow Dash having nothing in common yet they were still friends?

People can like other things, hell, people will move on. Sure, some people may drift but not all friendships end when someone decides to move on.

I’m not leaving the fandom, just taking a step back and letting myself enjoy other things. I’ve been through MLP since I was a kid, I’ve had phases where I really enjoy it and then fell out. 

Homestuck was kind of the same way--I really enjoyed it for a good few years of my life and then it got to the end, and then ended. All my Ponystuck art still exists somewhere on the internet and god, it makes me cringe but you know what? I enjoyed it all.  Then guess what! Homestuck 2 happened and now I’m excited for the next update of it.

Hearing you say this to me really upset me. It hurt to think you were assuming I was going to cut the friends I made in this fandom just because I’m finding myself not creating as much content and want to step aside. I don’t do that, not whatsoever.

Who cares if we don’t have anything in common? I really don’t have common much with my high school friends any more but we still love hanging out. 

My piece of advice? Don’t force yourself to like things just to stay friends with someone.  That’s not healthy.  If you don’t like it, that’s fine, just don’t ridicule someone’s interests by mocking or insulting it because that just leaves a sour taste in people’s mouths.

13. How many d&d characters have you made?

I’ve made like…30 of them? But I’ve used 6 of them so far.  Flea’s my main campaign kid and the other five were one shots :0c

Pfft where’s the fun in that? I’d rather present parts of her character in a better way than just text, either way. Even if it’s not on that blog, it’d be on here.

Pretty sure they’re not a thing in fantasty land, so I imagine she’s not had it

Technically her DnD world is still Equestria as far as I’m concerned. In my mind with all the creatures and other things existing in that world, it would be rife with adventurers and similar types.

And she’s been to Ponyville and it’s exactly what it looks like: it’s a backwater town filled with mainly civilians and maybe a minor guard posted. She’s even there right now in the Maenad Lounge, which is on the outskirts on Ponyville itself.

Same way anyone else would earn her trust. They have to earn it, usually over a long period of time. She’s still gonna find some people questionable but she’s not unapproachable.
