Piper is out in an open courtyard area of the school yacking away on the phone to her Little Llama father. She was going on and on about her dorm room and kept sending him pics of how ordinary and plain it was. Kuzco was excited to hear about every little detail. “Yes, yes, I got all signed up for my classes just fine.” Then she went on about those details too. “I have to choose another elective.” She explained. “And they put me in some sort of remedial potions course because they didn’t think I’d be able to keep up with the other students my age. What if I need a tutor already, before I even get started? But, Dad. Dad. Listen. This is important.” She kept talking faster and faster in her rush to get her over excited day out of her mouth.
“Please send me my purple curtains. The ones with the gold trim. There’s no color at all in here. I don’t know who decorated this place. But, I’m going to have to fix it.”
Kuzco would shove the phone at Clopin. “Oh you gotta hear this one Papa Cougs.”
While she was going on about the school not being purple enough loud enough to cause a spectacle she noticed someone watching her. So, she waved and smiled not realizing at all how absurd the whole conversation might sound to an outsider.
