I canât believe you stole my idea of writing a fic about Izuku.
you have no proof, no source, no reason to believe i even existÂ
Hey. What's your favourite thing to write?
Split between these two:
âThat Moment.â That Moment is a collection of disparate scenes that I get in a flash, usually many many many chapters in advance. Each of these scenes packs some emotional punch FOR ME and is a defining moment of the story (examples from Just Legends includes Kayâs sacrifice for Arthur, the moment Arthur reunites with Kay in the underworld, the cursing of Demeter, and Arthur and Kay finding out who Ginny and Gareth are). Keeping the next one of these in mind often gives me the motivation to keep writing the story because I HAVE TO SEE THIS MOMENT HAPPEN. Usually, by the time I get to those scenes, they have changed dramatically from the way I originally envisioned them (for example, my first concept of Aji attacking Arthur was going to be her singing him into a stormy sea and leaving him to drown) and usually they change for the better. But when I get to That Moment, there is a great deal of catharsis for me personally if the scene goes well. Iâm currently eyeballing, as my upcoming moments, Arthur meeting Shiro Mori, and what is happening when Ginny and Gareth return to their proper time.
Catharsis. When any and all angst and torment the characters have gone through is soothed and healed and filled to overflowing with all the good they should have gotten. The moment of luxurious rest, peace, joy. The times that permanently fortify the character moving forward, as they rebuild every part of them that was broken down. Sometimes overlaps with âThat Momentâ but not always.
As someone who has been in the IZ fandom since the original show aired, I just wanna say itâs super cool to see peeps like yourself still producing awesome and brilliant fan work. Keep up all the good work you do my dude and be super proud of what youâve created.
Awww, thank you so much! That means a lot <3 I never had the chance to be a part of the fandom during the showâs original run so Iâm really glad I got to be a part of it this time around.Â
I would 100% recommend Jujutsu Kaisen, itâs absolutely fantastic. Demon Slayer is also brilliant.
I keep up with JJK!!!! Love it. Megumi is my son.Â
Demon Slayer Iâm told would annoy me based on its portrayal of twins, so :/Â

Steelheart Redux? More like please give us more Iâm so invested in this original world concept youâve come up with, ammarite?
GRINS AT YOU
just for u hereâs a worldbuilding-y thing i realized i had never like. summarized.
so holograms are a very common thing in athela (they were originally invented there and their ubiquity is kind of an Athela Thing â˘). a good example of this would be their AIsâ which in this world stands for âartificial interactiveâ. specifically what an AI is is a holographic character that conversationally relays information from a database. that can be a lot of things, but unless youâre in a specialized tech field, youâll mostly see them in simple-ish people-facing jobs, like front desk or retail. (far from All retail/etc jobs have adopted AIs, but theyâre common at chain stores, or as a kind of bonus/back-up employee should the situation require it.)
majority of the time, AIs appear as humanoid figures with a symbol for a head (usually this symbol is relevant to the business theyâre a part of, or a simplified version of the company logo). theyâre also monochromatic holograms, so theyâre only a single color.
the reason for this is that most AI are run on pretty inexpensive systems, and the âbodyâ isnât necessarily the main focus; itâs more to help people interact with it more comfortably. these bodies are basically 3d models that are being posed in real time and then projected, so the simpler the rig and âmodelâ, the easier they run.
original AIs tried to have fully-detailed tiny people, but ran either very slowly or at a frustratingly high cost. then people tried cutting out the body and just doing expressive facial busts, but those were⌠a bit uncanny. so the âno face, expressive bodyâ AI came about, and became the most popular option pretty quickly.
Not to bring up old fics, but I just realized something that could have been a game changer for Leviathan!Izuku. He should have had a little angler-fish head-light thing.
wrong blog kinda but i'll allow it haha
tbh yeah. that would have been kind of terrifying and fun to write
It wasnât your best day in years.
