{{Red X entertained the rapport he has with Jinx originally because, not only was she fairly interesting, she was a good partner in crime. When their occasional team-ups happened (I canât remember if that was a thing we agreed on or just one of my favourite Red X headcanons but yeah), they made a good team, so Red X didnât see a reason to make her his enemy.
Of course, that hasnât stopped him from antagonising her a little bit, mainly because itâs funny when sheâs annoyed and fun when she pokes back.
â as for their current friendship-and-maybe-a-bit-more, well, Red X might (rather insensitively) call it a lapse in judgement. Heâd become careless, letting her slip past his defenses, and, well, fuck, suddenly he cares about her and doesnât want to hurt her feelings. He still enjoys antagonising her a bit, but he entertains her company maybe a bit more than he thinks he should because he, to put it simply, likes her personality and how much fun she can be.}}
