Love bombing is different from loving someone a lot, and it's important to understand these key distinctions.
I've dealt with a fair share of my husband's "love-bombing" in recent years and it sucks buckets for days.

Experts discuss common issues that aren't necessarily full-blown red flags -- but that could get there with time.
Real Men Throw Pink
During this week’s Dolphins-Jets game, the NFL has been inspired to further their support of Breast cancer awareness by throwing pink penalty flags. The idea came from 11yr old Dante Cano who proposed it in a letter to the NFL prior to Thursday night’s game. They invited Cano to distribute the Flags to the officials, and before Sunday’s game he did just that. Many football fans would love to be in his position, but he put the effort into making his idea heard by the NFL. In today’s society we tend to believe that one person couldn’t possibly make a deference, but in this case, this one child made a proposition that was taken into consideration by one of the most successful business organizations in the world. This should show people that any person can make a difference.
The NFL has been transformed by the Washington Redskins’ October Breast Cancer Program. Year after year, more and more of the NFL has made themselves involved in this program. Now not only the NFL but all football fans are made more aware of Breast cancer. It’s to the point where even my flag football league has acknowledged the fight against breast cancer. Sports throughout the world have yet to shift to the NFL’s idea to wear pink in October, but being America’s biggest sport and favorite pastime has its advantages. I doubt any sport other than football could have made a bigger impact than football. Other sports leagues, such as the NBA, have given a shot at one upping the NFL with alternate uniforms, (like the NBA’s latin heritage month’s Spanish jerseys) but the success has hardly been the same. This, in my opinion, is one of the reasons why the NFL can make a bigger impact and has given breast cancer the spotlight it needs to be taken seriously.
Is There Such a Thing as Going Overboard for a Good Cause?
More pink on the field thanks to a very smart 11 year old. The NFL officials will be using PINK penalty flags for Sunday's Jets vs. Dolphins game after Dante Cano wrote commissioner Roger Goodell with a fine suggestion in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This is a piece from USA today and I (as the writer of the particular blog) could not agree with it more: “The NFL's embrace of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is undeniably great, yet you'd be amazed at the number of complaints on Facebook and Twitter about the league going pink for four games. Seeing Aaron Rodgers with a pink towel tucked into his waist is too much for some people, apparently. Stop the complaints. The league can go overboard sometimes. When it's for a worthy cause like this, it can't go overboard enough.” Dante and his family have been invited to the game to help deliver these pink flags to the officials! Now THAT will be something to remember and rightfully brag about when he is 30! Or any age for that matter! Quote from Goodell "Sometimes the simplest ideas can be the best. I applaud Dante for sending in his recommendation." Are you on board with the PINK flags Gables West Avenue? Photo: USA Today
