I think jins note was good but because he wasn't paired up with a member in the story line the note became abstract. That's not saying the note was bad, it was very beautifully written as usual. But I felt less of a connection to it because Jin was tied to an abstract figure instead of something concrete. For a note that's shorter, I feel like abstract concepts would need to be developed more.
