from what i've gathered so far, ((this is gonna be HELLA abbreviated LOL)) he's a construct that used to be a prominent fighter for the calydon gang, earning a name for himself ((literally, he got his name 'billy' from the former leader of the gang. also earned the nickname "Calydon Reaper")) there BUT later left that life behind due to power shifts

he's VERY silly despite his past and is obsessed with the in universe Starlight Knights series ((a sort of power rangers/kamen riders-esque show afaik)) and idolizes how heroic/just they are and strives to be the same! he is very focused on indulging in the simpler things in life currently

theres a really really good youtube video by kit (<link if u desire) going in depth on his character and motivations that i cant put into words but i love him bad

i think post traitor ending she’d probably eventually land up in that field again (since it’s a rare skill. you can pretty easily teach someone to shoot but train maintenance knowledge is rare, especially in a world where trains are important means of transportation) some years down the line which is also really funny still considering her history.

bullsquid hiding in one of the cargo containers on the train and suddenly the peaceful silly joke cracking conductor you’ve been talking to for an hour while checking the cargo blows its fucking brains out with a few rounds before it can even hiss and continues as normal with the conversation. doesn’t even blink. didn’t even question the fully grown bullsquid. i’d piss myself

This was already my headcanon lol- there's no reason for her to know how to get that thing up and running AND drive it unless she had a history of working with them. And she seems so chill doing it. Hanging out the window like that.

when I first designed it I never really put any thought to what was under all the fluff, so exploring what I think is under that heavy visor helm while trying to piece together why she's built like that (in universe) was fun :}c

Okay so. I need to preface that Bloody Cop and Traitor Lead are both manipulators in their own ways and I think this factors into how Bec interacts with them. So I'm gonna talk about both for the sake of like. Explaining my whole thought process yk?

Also obligatory transfem Bec headcanon. I'll be using she / her for Bec.

Bec is less of a leader and more of a "I'm doing my own thing and you're also here I guess" type of person. If there's someone more willing to take the lead, she's likely to fall in line with them (given it's advantageous for her to do so. She won't follow Just Anyone. Self interest is her primary motive.)

Bloody Cop, by virtue of being the kind of person he is, kept Bec on a short leash just by Being there. He idolizes Bec but he doesn't respect her. He has a very specific idea of who Bec is in his mind and we can't have her poking any holes in that. If Bec isn't who Bloody imagines she is, that not only means that Bloody was Wrong, but it also means that she may not provide the kind of advantages Bloody thinks she does.

Traitor Lead has a similarly dominant personality to Bloody's, but she has different goals. She's open about her manipulation and doesn't really care if Bec sees through it. She sees Bec for what she is ( a coward who is easily swayed by self preservation and self interest ), and she understands that Bec is a tool. She puts Bec in a position where there IS no other option, because Bec isn't going to choose death. We know that about her.

I think Bec and Tlead would work fine together in a working relationship, but getting close to eachother as friends, qpr or romantic would Not work in either of their favor. The respect isn't there. It would just be a more openly hostile BloodyBec but this time Bec doesn't have anything to fall back on if things don't work out.

Not that I think Bec would be particularly unhappy working with the rebels, I think she has plenty of room to enjoy it and find some kind of purpose with it, it's specifically that she couldn't be happy with Tlead.

And I don't particularly think Tlead could be all that happy with Bec, we don't know a whole lot about her but from what we do see, she's kind of all business. If you aren't useful there's no point in wasting time on you. And while that sounds cold, that's working for her.
