Even though the summer is over, these owls hope they can continue bringing you some brightness and cheer! I made the pineapple owl more recently than the strawberry owl so its beak is made of felt instead of embroidery thread. Which beak style do you prefer?

Happy New Year! Wishing you an amazing 2020!
Some of my favorite projects from 2019 are these fruit and vegetable-themed owls. Although I wasn’t able to meet all of my crochet goals this past year, I’m glad that I got the chance to experiment with some of my existing designs. I’m currently working on an intergalactic visitor that I hope to share in a WIP post soon, please stay tuned!
This pineapple owl wants to bring some sunshine into your life this week! I based the stitch off of AllAboutAmi’s pineapple purse pattern and I actually started crocheting from the bottom of the owl to the top (I start at the top for my strawberry and watermelon owls). For the leaves, I crocheted each one separately and then crocheted the leaves together before sewing them on to the top of the owl. I hope you like this design!
There’s a new owl design coming soon! You might remember from my watermelon owl post that I was interested in making a pineapple owl. I ended up using a modified version of the pineapple stitch from AllAboutAmi’s pineapple purse pattern. Please check back next week for the completed design!
