Decided I’m going to start making more posts about my Silco collection. Still wish I would have sooner so I could look back and see how it’s grown, but I hadn’t expected collecting to become such a big hobby for me. Anyways here’s a little fan merch haul from this last week. Can’t wait for the rest of the things I’ve preordered to arrive 😊 in the meantime might post about decorating the ita bag I finally got or do some posts on my pin displays and how I make them.
Ready for the con 🥳
IT IS DONE!!! I’m actually so happy with how this turned out. Everything was thrifted, except for the yarn that was already in my stash lol. I can’t wait to display my pins and keychains on it later!!!!
📌 How To: Affix Buttons Onto A Pin Display ˙٭ ☻
- All you're going to need for this is a straight sewing pin, and the button of your choice!
First, you're going to want to grab your pin.
Next, insert it into the corkboard. You may want to push a little hard, depending on the cork you are using. Now, this is important: make sure your pin is as flat to the corkboard as possible! This will make sure it stays securely.
Finally, slide your button onto the pin! If it's properly secure, it should not jostle. If it is loose, you may want to remove the pin, and try again.
Well done! I hope your button display works out wonderfully!
