does anyone else get really suspicious of the asks in inboxes begging for money because of sick and injured people in gaza.? if i 100% knew it was real of course id promote it and such but every fiber in my being is telling me that every single one i get is a scam because they all use the same "please help! i am a mother/father of 2-3 babies/children! we are sick and starving and need your money now (link)" like, its always in that order and the mannerisms of it all make me so so so suspicious but i feel so horrible for ignoring/blocking. OBVIOUSLY the content of it isnt the thing that makes me suspicious but i also dont know if more details/stakes makes it more or less suspicious as to whether or not theyre fishing for empathy. some claim to be verified by some account that verifies users from Palestine that need help but like, what kind of verification is that to me? who even is this random blog claiming that youre real? it could be a bot too, thats how this sort of scam works. i dunno. it all makes me feel kinda evil because i want to help and all but i also dont want to play a part in promoting something that has such MASSIVE scam potential. like, if i were a scammer, thats the sort of thing id exploit for a fake gofundme. like i said i dunno.....i dunno

every fiction enjoyer that bases their opinion of a character off of their words and actions exclusively instead of the LOOK IN THEIR EYES and the internal monologue you read in their face......trust you will be dealt with.....
