This past week Susan came across a couple of adorable pikas while hiking 🥾 Mt. Whitney. These rabbit like critters collect these haystacks to help them survive the winter. In some ways they remind Susan of her Grandmother. She was a house keeper with limited means but whenever anyone ran into trouble she always had enough to lend them to get through a tough patch. She kept track of her finances down to the last penny. When she lent money, she wanted it to truly make a transformational difference. She generally invested in our education, business opportunities or simply to keep us housed, clothed and feed when we faced crisis. Her Grandmother’s life taught Susan, that regardless of an individual’s means everyone has the ability to give back if one carefully manages their resources. Grandma’s mission was to enable her family to become independent and self sufficient through her assistance. What is your mission for the resources you have available?
