Wow. I wish I was sliding down the hill at Gas Works Park on a found sled right now.
There was a lot of synchronized gasping as people flew down the hills and 1) ran into pedestrians and onlookers or 2) tumbled wonderfully from their sleds*.
Someone brought a wicker couch and tried to ride it down to no avail. Ā I hope the couch remains on the hill and just turns into extra seating.Ā
*Cardboard boxes, campaign signs, garbage bags, cookie sheets, actual sleds.
