Alright so my incredibly self-indulgent headcanon about Piglet is that he has some form of dissociative disorder with several alters. (I call it self-indulgent because I pull from my own experiences with this type of thing [something I'd elaborate on but in direct messages] and also he makes me happy so ha there.)
The voices are:
Charlotte - italics. She's the main alter of sorts, a gatekeeper and protector. She's a spider - Charlotte's Web. I want to work more with her and Piglet in another fic.
Essentially, her job is to keep Piglet stable and everyone else out of the way. She manifests often, and, while Piglet has been instructed not to acknowledge her (by who? I don't know, take a guess ;) ), he always will because she's like an older sister to her.
Rex - bold italics. Rex would be considered a persecutor or even a demonic alter - essentially, he has his... own ideas, say, on how to protect Piglet. These own ideas involve... well, I'll quote the fic:
Rex is homicidal, Piglet wants to point out. When Rex is around, bad things happen. Like the time he woke up with insults smeared on the walls in blood. And a line cut so deep into his arm that Boxer wouldn't let him sleep for the next three days in fear Rex would reemerge and do something even more drastic.
Yeah. "Punishments" for misbehavior... Rex's name and species (border collie) come from Babe.
Boxer - underlined italics. Boxer would probably be considered the caretaker - where Charlotte is the older sister, dealing with the day-to-day, Boxer's like a mother figure in that he constantly worries about and coddles Piglet. Boxer harbors most of the anxiety as well, so if he's around it's a good sign of nervousness and beginning to lose control over a situation.
Boxer's name and species (horse) come from Animal Farm.
I'm drinking! I'm drinking! And I'm also trying to work on fics... got a DSMP one on the alt account I haven't really worked on in months and a Danganronpa/TMS S5 crossover (from someone who's never played Danganronpa so essentially killing game but Season 5) because I was inspired by another one on Ao3 (that is, to do better than that other one, and I've got my plans). It's slow because inspiration is hard and I've been dealing with a lot of stuff, but I'm trying my best! I probably should have chapter 1 of the crossover done this weekend, though... we'll see. Ugh. Writer's block hurts, mate.
