#pigeons!

never have i run home to make art so fast i swear!!!

so it was before sunrise, dark, i was walking on the sidewalk and these pigeons darted out and started wheeling around a streetlight and they were illuminated SO SHARPLY against the black sky. it was beautiful! sometimes they were super clear, sometimes they moved so fast they were just blurs. i actually stopped to watch them for a full minute. finally they left and tucked away under a balcony

the whole scene played in my head during my lifting class and on the bus home until i could try to put it down!!! i hope some of it translates bc i thought of you and wished you could have seen it
