"Are you sure?", Piffle asks.

"Yes, if she actually wanted to do something, Vania would've just said it plainly.", Gojo nods.

"What if she didn't?", Dalv walks up to him.

"Vania doesn't lie.", Gojo looks down to meet his gaze, slightly taller than the despot.

"We should prepare regardless.", Sen's arms sway behind his back.

"Whatever the old man said.", Sukuna shrugs.

"Yeah.", Piffle nods in agreement.

So of course I went back and rewatched last year’s.

If you look closely at last year, Lisa has the bouquet of flowers in hand, the bottle of wine, and unspecific arrangement with Roy, set for the night BEFORE Carla’s actual birthday. Is Lisa repeating old ways she learned in her last relationship - ambush celebrations?

Or let’s hope she just wanted to say her first “I love you” as soon as she could after her traditional “Lisa Swain pause to process big emotions.” Like Harry at midnight wanting the rest of her life to start as soon as possible?

(And then Carla lies to her and Lisa thinks she’s being jerked around … and Carla is sad)
