June travels ☀️🎶
#picture.log#tfw you take two hours worth of train rides out to the beach in another prefecture only for the group to decide to go back in four hours#but me and one friend were like nah and we stuck around for lunch and went to look at some nice temples and it was pretty cool :]#did a lot of creative stuff and it's making me flip back into my 'i wanna Make Things and Learn Stuff' mode again#had some nice chats with friends about art and the Future and the dread is still there but at bay and not keeping me up at night at least#it has been an exhausting few weeks#quite a few of outings that i didn't really want to go but some of them still ended up enjoyable thankfully#also it's fun to go places on my own sometimes; gotta get used to being in my own skin (normal human thing to say)#at the art museum i saw this one piece depicting two people struggling in the strong wind#the piece was literally titled “wind in may” which was funny since the Exact same thing happened to me this may#when i was walking home the night before the typhoon hit and was trying to keep my umbrella from getting blown upwards#nice to know that they were having the same problems in the '30s too#what a feeling to see the way familiar streets looked decades past#also reading through the info at the exhibit about artists missing the times before urbanisation#and getting into painting about nature really just gets you going huh. people are always yearning for times past#humans are gonna be like that always. love that#art is amazing#herb.txt
