pictures of my mods and refurbishes are getting notes again so here's a compilation of most of them! I didn't make any of the shells, they're all various sites like retro modding, handheld legend, bluish squirrel, boxy pixel, rose colored gaming and etc. all mods were done by myself! the macro is half of a DS with the speaker relocated and a custom aluminum faceplate

the backlight + bivert dmg is the least impressive technically next to all of the new ips kits that are out but it's my favorite because I did it. I peeled off the back layer of the screen with a razor and cleaned off all the glue. I soldered in the bivert chip and a 5v voltage regulator. It looks so goddamn sharp for being the original screen underneath it all. (bottom right is before any mods for comparison)
