where am i supposed to go? by ridgeclub ˖᯽ ݁˖· ─

I listened to this song once on TikTok and I've been absolutely enchanted by it since. There is something really spiritual in its resonance that hooked me on the first listen. It gets me thinking about the human experience and just humanity in general and that's really overwhelming but also deeply gorgeous. It made my head feel quite swimmy, it's almost hypnotic. I'd definitely reccommend checking out some of ridgeclub's other tracks.

2. black & white striped tank top ˖᯽ ݁˖· ─

I thrifted it in April but the weather wasn't too good for it. It's gotten hotter in the last few weeks and we had a heatwave come through so this kept me quite cool. Also, it's cute asf. I think it flatters my shape well and hides some of my insecurities while still being comfortable and cooling. Me and my friends were having a picnic and I managed to drop pomegranate down it but thankfully the stain came out.

3. chinese takeaway ˖᯽ ݁˖· ─

I had an absolutely stunning chinese takeaway early in the month and it was so freaking delicious. We usually end up getting the same thing everytime but I'd like to start branching out. I just love crispy chicken, especially with the chinese flavours; it just really hits the spot. My local takeaway also do an absolutely gorgeous BBQ sauce which just makes everything taste better. I love british chinese food most of the time but this particular meal was so so good.

4. the north west of england ˖᯽ ݁˖· ─

We went up to Manchester to see my aunt and meet some of her fiance's family. We had such agood time and the weather was perfect. When we were going home, we went through the peak district which was just utterly utterly gorgeous. The variety of landcsapes in the UkK never fails to take my breath away and to have it (relatively) close makes me feel very lucky.

5. picnics ˖᯽ ݁˖· ─

The weather has actually be so gorgeous throughout May so there was lots of eating outside, but especially a picnic I had with my sister. We got picky bits from M&S which were so so so delicious but even just being outside in the sun with mt friends or my sister was such a healing experience and for a little while my brain slowed down and i was just having fun chatting and catching up with her. I've very grateful that I'm surrounded by people who love doing things with me.
