The "holy man" imagined by Nicolas Chorier in India, initially crafted by Robert Brasington in Tasmania, fine tuned by Jim Day in Seattle, tested in Seaside Oregon. A wonderful kite, extremely stable, with a great lifting power and without too much pull.(size is 12 feet) According to Pierre Lesage Holy man 2,20m wide and 3,0m high, The total surface is 5,2m²; Sail surface is 4,2m². Frame made glasfiber  Black/Green Skytex fabric, Bridle and flying line: Climax Blackline. My Circoflex consists of 20 panels of 60 by 60 cm with gold colored stars stitched in. A panel of 5 cm (with seam) at the front containing a glass fibre rod of 4mm. At the back we have also a 5cm panel with a 2mm line to ply the fabric into a curve that increases the wind pressure. 12 bridles that joined in groups of 7 and 5, interconnected with a string to adjust the flight angle.    The inventors of the Circoflex are Tom Oostveen Helmut Schiefer my kite was built based on the info found on the website of Anthony Thyssen   (pictures: mieke.deblaere & Jeroen)
