Hello :) First of all, kiriban (766 666) is VERY close! At second, Brno's females, Alex and Clair, are in heat now. I went to the ZOO to take some photos - because of mating season, wolves were very excited and active. I had a great chance to watch their fantastic and natural behavior, which included gentle touches, aggresivity (not between alphas and beta, but younger wolves were somehow excited) and mating itself. It was just incredible to observe so intimate moments of the lives of wolves. Thanks to winter, I was totally alone with them - only me and wolves. He takes a step down the hall, closer to Liam, and Liam instinctively takes one back until he remembers why he’s here. He stands his ground, waiting as Z gets closer.

“Not you, though,” he says, voice low. “You don’t want to play the hero, Liam Payne. You just want to help people. You have morals, don’t you? And you won’t back down, because you’re fighting for something. Sure, something as pathetic and impossible as proving to the world that there is still good out there, but that’s still something. It’s the ones who are fighting for something that you have to worry about.”

Liam pretends to be as unfazed by this as he can, but it’s hard because it’s spot on. It’s something that he’s thought more than once himself. Maybe not that last part, but the rest of it. It freaks him out that this person knows this about him, has managed to crack Liam open and sift through everything he found inside, tucking away important pieces of information that benefited him.

“What about you?” Liam asks, a defensive tone to his voice. “Playing Robin Hood and vigilante. You’re going about it the wrong way, and I think you know that, but in the end you’re doing exactly what I’m doing.”

Now it’s his turn to say, “Really. And what’s that?”

Liam was blushing something fierce again. “I didn’t know you liked me,” he repeated. “I thought that-- I don’t know. I just didn’t know.”

Zayn made a strangled sort of sound at that, and moved off Liam’s lap. Liam looked wounded for a second, like he thought he’d said something wrong, so Zayn grabbed the front of his shirt and roughly pulled him closer, once again being the leader, laying down flat on the couch and urging Liam to get on top of him.

“Shit, Liam,” Zayn groaned when the other boy did as Zayn wanted. The thin material of his uniform did little to hide the fact that Liam was very, very into what they were doing. “I thought it was obvious.”

Liam shook his head, hair bouncing with the movement. His thighs were tight around Zayn’s, the strength of them holding Liam up above him. He was a warm, pleasant weight on top of Zayn’s body, and Zayn’s mind couldn’t help but question how fucking good it would be if Liam were the one leading this, if he was the one pressing into Zayn, showing him exactly what he wanted and how to do it.

“Why are you doing this?” Zayn asks, searching Liam’s eyes for something. Some hint of malice, something that betrays the open and friendly look on his face, that proves that Zayn’s guard is up for a reason. He doesn’t find anything.

“Doing what?” Liam asks, turning his keys in his hands.

“I did try to kill you,” Zayn says softly. “And now you’re-- feeding me, offering me clothes. Why?”

Liam shrugs and says, “Why not? Until everyone decides what to do with you, you’re stuck here anyways. And who knows, you might end up being useful.” He smiles a bit. “You were out there on your own, weren’t you? For how long?”

Zayn shifts uncomfortably. “Haven’t been with anyone else since October.”

“Fuck,” Liam breathes, eyes wide. “How’d you last so long?”

Zayn narrows his eyes. “I just did.”

“Right, well,” Liam grins again. “See what I mean? If you can last that long on your own, out there, then you might be a real help in here.”

“What if I don’t want to stay?” Zayn asks him.
