*ﾟ:*:✼ ❀ — Long gone were the days of innocent laughter and running around playing hide and seek in the backyard, but sitting here and brushing her cousin’s hair evoked a sense of nostalgia. When her dad wasn’t available to be dragged into her dress up games, she at least had Will to turn to. 

His golden locks were as soft as ever and had grown out a little from when they were children, but despite this, it was obvious he kept it well maintained. Laney ran the brush through his hair, only encountering a couple of knots from throughout the day. These were taken care of by her gentle hands and without (hopefully) causing the blond much pain. 

And for the final touch, a flower crown weaved by Laney herself. She places it on top of his head, giggling at her work.

Leia had been swimming, as she tends to do when she noticed a big boat. How had she not noticed it before? She drifted closer to get a better look and peeked her head out of the water. Staring in awe, she didn’t notice the person standing on the dock. Once she had gotten a proper look, her eyes shifted to where the man was standing.

Lily didn’t necessarily believe in fate. Personally, she felt that if you wanted something to happen, you made it happen, rather than waiting for some mysterious force to do it for you. But fate was the only explanation for this. That, or stalking. 

In her years of travelling, there was one man who she’d crossed paths with in several towns. His presence there was always announced by the large yacht in the docks, and the fact that he often arrived before she did ruled out the stalking as an explanation. 

After they both noticed the coincidence, they often chatted, although neither of them were the type to stay in one place for long. She remembered thinking that his accent and manner of speaking were strange in a different way to hers. He was friendly, although Lily often found herself confused by things he said. Regardless, she would almost consider them friends by this point, little as they’d interacted. 

Still, as her eyes wandered the ocean on her work break, she did not expect to see his yacht pulling into Arcadia Port. She did a double take, but it was an unmistakable vessel. And if the angle was anything to go by, he was coming from Leuda, meaning this wasn’t his first arrival to the islands. But he couldn’t have been here long without escaping her notice. 

As the ship docked, she walked up the jetty, needing to see him for herself. A head of white-blond hair glinting under the spring sun was all she needed to confirm her suspicion.

[🐎] — For as tomboyish as people liked to say she was, Georgia liked plenty of girly things. While she may not have been the type who liked to bother with dresses or makeup or fancily done nails, she did appreciate the importance of smelling nice, and would often go shopping for perfumes whenever she had the time and extra cash on hand.

Honestly, if you didn’t import from the mainland, or get your hands on one of those alchemists (some of which would charge waaaay too much for their services), it was pretty difficult to get some of the best perfumes while living on Arcadia, since they weren’t regularly stocked in stores. Thankfully, a fragrance shop had opened up pretty recently, and Georgia had jumped on it at the earliest chance she could get.

Today was just another one of those days. After finishing up her farm work, she headed straight to Scarlet Scents & Perfumes with the money from her most recent paycheck, excited by the fact that she’d be able to splurge and buy things she wanted for once.

It doesn’t take her too long to arrive at the shop, and before she can take more than three steps inside, she’s suddenly greeted by Will, starting in surprise due to nearly forgetting that he even worked there. “W-whoa!” She holds a hand to her chest, right over her rapidly beating heart. Goodness, that scared her way more than it should have. “O-oh, uh... hey, Will.”
