i wish it was socially acceptable to announce to your physics degree classmates that if you were left unsupervised in the proximity of a radioactive element you would at LEAST TRY to take a little nibble on it. like just for Science. has anyone tried it. how would the bajillion calories it has change your metabolism . remember: IT'S FOR SCIENCE!!!!!;?!+((_?"!???!!!!!!
It would be interesting to see the link between how mathematicians think about tensors and how physicists think about tensors. Of course physicists usually mean tensor fields which is all well and good but I've still not seen the relationship between how the formal definition as smooth sections of tensor bundles and the whole "a tensor is something that transforms like a tensor" thing
