Gonna be honest, people baby Mother Gooseberry way too much, as if she's such a 'soft little bean', as if she's totally unaware of the pain and violence she inflicts.

Part of it is people just coming up with horny fantasies for her, which is fine go ahead. it's fascinating to me that gooseberry and her collective are so particular about dental hygiene and the state of your teeth, naturally as dentists, but have some of the most wickedly crooked teeth of the prime lineup.

obviously, this is to be expected from excessive drug use, physical abuse, and constantly taking bricks to the face. i'm amused by a scenario in which lucidity is brought to this fact.

i can imagine her trying to frantically brush away any lingering grime and caked up filth that was there till she bleed and the bristles came splayed off the plastic. feeling dirty and humiliated in the realization that they're practically unsalvageable.

then maybe she might switch to plucking them straight from the root. the pain may be splitting but the catharsis left from taking out frustration on her already destroyed mouth is euphoric. it's helpless, but grounding.

i can also imagine her plucking teeth out simply for adrenaline, the drugs and the exhaustion of physical and mental disability will make you rather sluggish. it's easy to restart the nervous system with unprecedented stress to the body!

I feel like Dr. Futterman the goose puppet/overall mascot was meant to pay positive homage to Gooseberry’s father in her eyes. Like adding what she deemed to be positive traits of her dad and trying to get his approval bc it’s implied that he disapproved of Phylis’ career path.
