Title: We Always Do This (Sneak Peek #2)
Fandom(s): College Craze
Summary: It has always been Phylicityâs deepest wish to find a partner that understood and respected what she could not change. Perhaps itâs Jay, or maybe it isnât. Jay, on the other hand, recognized awhile back that Phylicity does things in stages, and while he wants, he knows itâs better to wait, instead.
Pairing(s): Jason âJayâ Choi x Phylicity âPhyâ Carr
Warning(s): Awkward shenanigans
I write in second person though Phylicity is an original character with her own developed personality and background. Although itâs not exactly stated or remarked on at any point (so far), Phy is on the graysexual spectrum side of things. Jason Choi, or Jay, belongs to PrettyInk and is apart of the College Craze universe.Â
The sneak peeks are highly subjective to change. Some scenes might star in a chapter going forward, or they might not. Iâm mainly flexing my out of use writing muscles and trying to work up the nerve to eventually get back into smut writing.Â
To keep up wit me on my never ending bs about Jay and the other characters of this game, yâall can join the fan server here.
~
Youâre on a mission and youâre going to succeed.
That was the single thought ringing through your brain as you stride from the hallway entryway over to where Jay is seated on the leather couch. He looked up as he heard your approach, lips parting to say something, but then his mouth snapped closed as you carefully set yourself astride his lap face forward, legs spread and bent at an angle so that theyâre on either side of his waist.
Arms winding around his back and leaning forward to brace your chin against the crook of his neck.
âPhylicity.â Jayâs normal confident tone is slightly strained, but that didnât stop him from wrapping an arm low around your back in return, probably trying to make sure that youâre comfortable and didnât do something embarrassing, like fall. How that could happen while sitting as yâall are is a mystery but with your luck, itâs possible. âWhat is you doinâ, girl?â
âMissed you.â Itâs simple and easy, the truth tumbling from your lips as long as youâre not making direct eye contact. âA lot.â And itâs even easier to press a kiss against his tattooed throat. Pressed up as close as yâall are, itâs impossible to hide the fact his pulse is hammering, and now that youâre actively paying attention, heâsâŚÂ
âOh.â
Heâs got a slight hard-on.Â
Not that you consider it an accomplishment, as he wasnât fully hard, that is.
Jay chuckled quietly. âI can practically hear yo galaxy brain spinninâ,â His hands find their way to your waist, about to lift you. âAnd we already covered that I ainât an experiment or yo little distraction.â Thankfully, he doesnât seem mad, just bemused by the overall situation.

Title: If You Want Love
Fandom(s): College CrazeÂ
Summary: It takes a village to raise a child.
Pairing(s): Helms x Phy (one-night stand; offscreen). Jay x Phy.
Warning(s): Light angst. Fluff. Spoilers for the game.
This one-shot is based on the idea that Helms would be miserable if MC got pregnant by him. đ The twist I talked about in the server is that Jay would stick around and raise the kid as his own đĽ°đ
So here we go! Letâs get it!
**The name of the hospital mentioned in the story is the creation of Ageha from the fan server (Iâm notoriously bad at naming things and people, we all know this â¤ď¸)
~
âI⌠are you sure that⌠that itâs mine?â
So it seems that men remain little boys regardless of age, especially when it is time to take responsibility.Â
Giving Helms a tight-lipped smile, Phylicity looked the chief of police straight in the eye. âConsidering the delicate nature of the situation, donât you think it would be wiser to speak more carefully to me?âÂ
Clearing his throat, Helms sternly stared the young woman down. âMiss Carr, if you think that you can blackmail meâŚâÂ
âI could,â Phylicity stated simply, bored of his blustering. âAnd you can even look at it as I am, however in the interest of saving my precious time,â Reaching down, she picked up a simple clutch and unzipped the purse, pulling out several officious documents. âFill these out, please.â Leaning forward, she placed the papers onto the desk before sitting back in her chair.
âWhat isâŚ.isâŚthis is-â Reaching into the desk drawer, he pulled out a glasses case and then placed a delicate pair of spectacles onto the bridge of his nose. Phylicity watched as he read the documents slowly, the furrow in his brow deepening. âI, I-.â Lost for words, he flicked his gaze up to hers.Â
Perhaps for anyone else, the torment clearly visible in that icy blue gaze would be enough to feel guilty. âItâs essentially me granting your wish. The termination of your parental rights.â Clicking her tongue, Phylicity tilted her head to the side just slightly.Â
Tearing his spectacles off, Helms tossed them onto the desk. âI-I couldnâtâŚâ Placing a hand over his eyes, he spent several long minutes quietly weeping. Phylicity rolled her eyes but made no move to comfort or hush him.Â
Eventually, he got himself together, removing his hand over his eyes to see her patiently watching him. He blinked more stray tears away. âIâm⌠Iâm a good man. I have a loving wife. I go to church on Sundays and my kids, my kidsâŚâ
Sensing his wavering, Phylicity decided to go for broke. âYouâre still a good man, Joe.â The lie fell off her tongue quickly. âSometimes good menâŚmake mistakes. It doesnât define you, I promise.â
Much to her relief, that seemed to do the trick. Helms signed the documents without any more fanfare and then slid the documents back over to her. Phylicity gathered everything up briskly, placing the papers nearly back into her purse before standing up and striding for the door.
Hand on the knob, about to leave, Phylicity paused as she heard him call out her name. Glancing over her shoulder, she stared at the chief of police, waiting.
âBe safe out there. Things are getting violent with these new dealers.â
Something about that sentence... Part of her being wanted to just leave, not entertain the ramblings of a guilty man. After all, what are the chances sheâs going to run into any drug dealers?Â
Yet her feet didnât move.Â
Turning around fully, Phylicity made eye contact with Helms once more, mouth unconsciously pulled into a frown. ââNew dealers?ââ
The guilt grew stronger in his eyes. âI shouldnât have said anything. Iâm sorry.â
Irritation crawled up her throat but Phylicityâs tone remained level. âDo you have any leads? Names?â Some emotion flickered across his face and Helms pressed his lips together, silent. âPlease.â Her right hand went to the flat of her stomach and his eyes followed the gesture.Â
Helms sighed, looking away for a moment, visibly struggling with his (shaky) moral compass. âWell, there's two of them we suspect are involved, even if only one pulled the trigger. Trey Clemmens is one, he goes by Triggs. The other just goes by Jay, but his real name is Jason Choi."
Feeling a pit open up in her stomach as she recognized those names, Phylicity nodded curtly and kept her features neutral as she swung the door open and Jose nearly fell face forward, obviously trying (and failing) to properly eavesdrop.Â
âJose!â Helms barked sharply, aghast. Disgusted but not altogether surprised by the other manâs reprehensible behavior, the police chief rose up from his seat.Â
Shaking her head and rolling her eyes heavenward, Phylicity walked around the man and quickly left the premises.
The last thing she needed is to be caught up in all that drama.Â

9 months later
Aleida Arroyo Memorial HospitalÂ
âHe is so small.â Chris marveled, voice barely above a whisper as he nestled his grandson (he had a grandchild!!!) carefully in his hold. âSo small, and ohh, ladybug, he looks like you.â
âThatâs funny. I was thinking he looked like you, Papa.â Phylicity chuckled, voice quiet as well, still mildly exhausted but gaze locked on her son.
It had been a difficult road to get to this point.Â
Mostly brought on by Phylicityâs independent streak and stubbornness, really.Â
The thought that it was her choice, so she had to face the consequences of being pregnant alone. Or so she attempted, anyway. Mal was the first to catch onto the fact that something was wrong with her baby cousin, followed by Stephen. The duo shifted their schedules and routines in order to better help Phy out, taking her to doctorâs appointments, buying baby essentials, etc. etc. And perhaps in the end, it was inevitable that everyone else would find out the truth too, though thankfully, that happened closer to the end of the second trimester, when her pregnant belly became far more noticeable.
Christopher had pretty much hit the roof and made some unreasonable demands and assumptions, the most audacious being to know the paternity of the unborn child. Phylicity had refused to disclose that information and simply stopped talking to her father altogether, for months. Honestly, if not for the combined cajoling of Mal and Aunt Tara, Phylicity would never have spoken to her father again.
Almost as if he could hear her pensive thoughts, her father looked at her, eyes wet with unshed tears, âLadybug, I know I didnât say it enough, but I am sorry,â he said simply, but sincerely. âI acted likeâŚ.likeâŚ.my father,â Thereâs decades of unresolved pain in his voice as he brought up his old man. âYou didnât deserve any of that.â
Breathing in deep, she contemplated addressing the elephant in the room that was her fraternal grandparent and ultimately resolved to let sleeping dogs lie, âNo. No, I did not.â Phylicity stated simply, tone even.Â
â...What are yâall gonna name him?â Christopher inquired, returning his grandchild to his daughterâs arms and turned to the other occupant sitting quietly in the corner of the room, easily overlooked.Â
Jay rose from his seat to amble over to Phylicityâs side. âPhy chose the name Jeremiah.â
âAnd we agreed that if I had another boy, heâd get to choose the name first.â Exasperated, Phy briefly glanced at her father. âDonât be fooled, Papa. I was super into him being involved with picking the names too, but he was all âits up to meâ and âwhatever you wantâ.â
âSounds like a guilty conscience, ladybug.â Christopher joked, unable to help himself.
âPapa!â Phylicity whisper-yelled. The baby, Jeremiah, woke and started to fuss.Â
âSee, look what you did.â
Jay shook his head with a wry little smile. âLet me get em, Phy.â
And just like that, it was as if the duo forgot that he was in the room.Â
Their focus entirely dedicated to that baby. That suited Christopher just as well, as he watched unobtrusively as possible, taking note of the little things, such as the quiet yearning in Jayâs expression as he fed Jeremiah and the way Phylicity watched him with her child, fiercely protective but equally as yearning.Â
Right until the critical moment, Phy hadnât uttered a word about the paternity of the babyâs father. Though when it was time to sign the birth certificate, Jay had stepped up to sign... and Phylicity hadnât contested the decision. Still, he let these observations go and resolved to let the secret remain buried as so many heâd collected, for far less altruistic reasons.Â
~
5 years later
âLâl man, lâil man, where you hidinâ?â Making a show of glancing around the baby and toddler proofed living room, Mal pretended not to see the tiny boy underneath the table. âCould you beâŚby the tv?â Turning her back just slightly, hearing Jeremiah as he darted from his current hiding spot to behind the couch. âMaaaybe the bookshelf?â
Jeremiah darted once again from his hiding place, straight for the door. And right into Stephenâs leg, falling backwards onto his rump, little tears appearing at the corner of his eyes.
âAdventurer Jer thwarted again! Oh no. But never fearââ Stephen said dramatically as possible, bending down to swoop the boy up into his hold, making airplane sounds.
âCapân JerJer is here!!!â Tears forgotten, Jeremiah hollered excitedly at the top of his lungs, hanging onto his uncleâs neck tightly as he ran away (i.e. he briskly walked) from auntie and down the hall, into the kitchen. âDaddy!!!!â
Stephen helped his rambunctious nephew down and the little goofer immediately latched onto Jayâs pant leg, staring up at his father with Bambi eyes. To Jayâs credit, he did resist - for 2.5 seconds then he was lifting his son onto his unoccupied hip.
âDonât say it.â Jay murmured, adjusting Jeremiah in his hold as he unlocked the back door.Â
The scent of barbecue ribs, pork chops, and hotdogs wafted into the house. Triggs is working the grill, Phylicity had a little girl in her lap, and there was music playing softly in the background.
Mal entered the kitchen just as Jay stepped outside, closing the door behind him. âI ain't even say nothing!â Stephen rolled his eyes. âSensitive assâŚâ
Flicking him on the neck, Mal lifted their chin as Stephen turned his head and pecked her on the lips, not once but twice. âI love you, Mr. Reed,â Hands wrapping around his middle, Malicia rested her ear against his chest, hearing how his heart was beating so steadily.
âLove you more, Mrs. Reed,â Squeezing gently, Stephen did nothing to stop the tender moment. Didnât tease or joke, just enjoyed it.Â
Meanwhile, outside, Jeremiah was let down at his pleading and he played (gently) with his baby sister, Kamilah. Jay wandered over to Phylicityâs side, as always, wanting to be close and from her seat, she looked up at him with that happy, contented little smile, reaching out and grabbing his hand and his heart stuttered.
âWanna know a secret?â
He nearly teased that she was terrible at keeping them. âDepends. Is it a good or bad secret?â Jay instead decided to play along. Phy made the gesture for him to lean down and he did so.
âEWW MOMMY, DADDY, DON'T KISS! DONT LOOK, SISSY! DON'T LOOK!â
âAy, ay, ay, whatâs this âewâ? How else yâall bad selves think yâall was made?â âBy KISSING? Unc...you lyin...â
Maybe he would be more worried about emotionally scarring his spoiled as all hell children, specifically, Jeremiah, but as it is, but Uncle Triggs got that handled, and even more than the kiss, Jay is reeling from the âsecretâ heâd been told.Â
Or secrets, rather.
Jay looked at Phylicity, then her stomach, and the words slipped out. âI get to pick the baby names out this time.â
Phy guffawed. âYouâre impossible!â
The arguably most precious secret, those three words he had been waiting to hear back, he kept those close to his heart.
Title: We Always Do This (Sneak Peek #3)
Fandom(s): College Craze
Summary: Jay tries to be good to Phylicity, really, he does. Sometimes though, his resolve is tested, and when she says she trusts him--That just makes him want her even more.
Pairing(s): Jason âJayâ Choi x Phylicity âPhyâ Carr
Warning(s): Awkward conversations, mild feral behavior from Jay, light manhandling, dry humping on the couch
My head felt like it was gonna pop writing this little segment. Thatâs when I knew I was too out of practice writing smut. I refuse to be defeated though.
~
âYou want to what?â
Sometimes, Phy came up with the weirdest suggestion and ideas. Or rather, as Jay had come to realize over and over, it was normally her ridiculous, sexually confident, and bold as hell about it too, friends, Ruby and Corey, encouraging her to say and do these over-the-top, ridiculous things, because they automatically assumed, as did she, at first, that he was only interested in a casual situationship.Â
Thinking about this made him want to go and find everyone one of her exes and choke them out. Or if they were women or people with vaginas, let Mal do the choking out.Â
âWelllllâŚ.â Phy dragged out the word, her fingers idly playing with his chain, not making eye contact, left leg thrown over his so casually and her head resting against his chest. âI mean, it soundsâŚâ Pausing, she searched for a word and he let her. The next time she spoke, her voice is quieter and he had to strain to hear her, a little. âCouples do this all the time, right? Like⌠massages? Give their partners massages.âÂ
And then she looked up at him with that helplessly confused look and heâs lost.Â
Undone. Smitten and feeling that protective urge threatening to consume him all over again.Â
Choking out her exes is too tame, respectfully.
â....Ion know what other peopleâŚ.what other couples, do.â Jay drawled after a long pause.Â
Trying to phrase this right.Â
âI just know what we do, that I wanna rock wit you, and that you comfortable wit me.âÂ
After months of trying to get out of the friend zone and consistent casual contact (never did Jay think heâd have to almost beg a woman to touch him), he is unwilling to do anything to scare Phy or seriously push her out of her comfort zone.Â
â...So naked massages are off the table indefinitely?â Thereâs a note of disappointment in her voice that catches his attention and Jayâs eyes darted down to look at Phylicity in surprise.Â
Thereâs that familiar little flustered expression, and oh-
âCalm. Keep it calm.â âDepends.â Jay is relieved that his voice comes out sounding mostly steady, and only a little husky. Clearing his throat, he tried to regain some control. âIf Iâm the one whoâs givinâ the massage.â
The pause is shorter this time, âI trust you soâŚ.â, and Phy once again stuns him with her boldness as she, casual as can be, rested her right hand on his left cheek and leaned her head up and gave him a quick peck on the lips. Only, as always, every time she makes the first move for anything, he canât help it.Â
Heâs greedy for more.Â
Hands clamping around her waist, he lifted her so she was perched in his lap and she felt exactly how all this casual talk of naked massages and she trusted him got him feeling. Brown eyes blown wide, her hands flew to his shoulders to steady herself, but unlike the last time they were in this situation, Phylicity rolled her ass back against his tented hard-on, twerking on his dick basically and Jay had no problems with placing his hands all over her body, encouraging her to move her hips faster.

Title: We Always Do This
Fandom(s): College Craze
Masterlist: Here.
Pairing(s): Jay x Phy
Summary: An intimate relationship is not only a physical relationship. It is a trusting relationship with another person without fear of rejection.Â
Or, alternatively, Phylicity Carr and Jason Choi are on different tracks of life and on the surface, should not mix. Their first run-in with each other is brief, yet still, the universe rippled. They meet once more and contact is moderately established but again denied. Their third encounter (and every other meeting thereafter) is no less fraught with friction, and tension.
Warning(s):Â Canon typical violence, flirting, underage drinking, pining, misunderstandings, occasional use of the n-word, spoilers for College Craze
This is a self-indulgent, slight comfort piece Iâm writing for myself but also for angelduality and alexandria on the College Craze Discord server. We all agreed that Samir needed to be put in his place.Â
Thus this 2 am idea was born~

Prologue
After being sick for several days due to food poisoning, Phy invited her cousin, Mal, out to the local museum. The jokester duo had a good day and ate inside the food court before going their separate ways.
Phylicity's application to Foxbury has been accepted and she's literally packing up to go.
Phylicity and Cam continue to become closer friends.
Apparently close enough for him to invite her to his other friend's kid-sibling birthday and just abandon her to strangers. It was a little bit much for her proper sensibilities, especially seeing the lil rugrats running 'round butt naked.
After the birthday gig end, she left Cam and caught an Uber home. Hasn't talked to him in a few days, she's so annoyed. During that time, she also applied for some scholarships to Foxbury.
Fingers crossed that things go well.
