Online Public Chat Room PHP OOP [ With Source Files ]
Online Public Chat Room is a perfect project to get hang on which teaches you the very basic of how OOP PHP works and its core mechanics. This is Online Public Chat Room PHP OOP developed using PHP OOP and MYSQL database.
Short Overview
The Project Online Public Chat Room PHP OOP requires you to login or create account for the first time. If you have created an account then you can simply login but if not then create a account by clicking upper-right hand corner button.
After login is successful, you will enter the online chat room where each and every users on the chat can send message to everyone. Sounds fun right, you can make your own chat for your own group of people.
Steps to implement the project in your localhost or online hosting server:
First, Download and Extract the file somewhere.
For localhost users, copy Online Chat room folder to C:\\xammp\htdocs\Â (if your xammp or any other program is located there) || For Online Hosting Servers, Login to Cpanel, Go to File manager, And copy paste all files inside the Online chat room.
Afterwards, Open phpmyadmin from xammp or cpanel (if you have one of those) . Create a collation database ‘chatme’ and import the sql file from database file folder. Import button should be in upper navigation bar from tables.
Then, the tables from sql files should have been imported and now fireup you site on browser (xammp apache and mysql server must be on if you are running on localhost).
Type on Browser: localhost/Online Chat room ( for localhost users.)
Type your domain name for hosting users.
