Baby pineapples are so very cute! This was the first low key shoot I did a few weeks ago. I was totally inspired by the cuteness of this baby fruit. While I loved this photo at first, looking at it now, it is hard to still say that. Why? Because as I progressed I started getting a better grasp on that back fill light, or hair light, as they would call it in portrait photography. The little highlight or glow coming from the back, that outlines the shape, and yet doesn’t light the other side of the fruit. Of course, you can totally put one entire side in darkness, or light both sides. That is the beauty of this art that we create. However, I like that soft glow coming from the back. ВРЕМЯ И МЕСТО
Приходите на место минимум за час до начала показа, чтобы занять лучшее место. Лучшее место для съемки показа - в центре подиума, поэтому позаботьтесь прийти заранее.
TOOLS
Носите с собой маленький стульчик, чтобы сесть перед другими фотографами или встать за ними. Или используйте монопод или штатив, с ними у вас будет возможность спокойно стоять среди других фотографов.
КАРТЫ ПАМЯТИ
Используйте карты памяти с высокой скоростью передачи, чтобы у вас была возможность снимать в режиме серийной съемки. Перед шоу проверьте, что у вас достаточно памяти, и на всякий случай всегда имейте при себе запасную карту памяти.

ОБЪЕКТИВ
При съемки показа, использование зум-объектива - наилучшее решение. Объектив 70-200 отлично подойдет для этих целей, независимо от того, где вы будут стоять. С ним вы сможете снимать как полноростовые кадры, так и крупные детали, портреты. Многие фотографы считают объектив 70-200мм 2.8 лучшим решением для съемки показов.
СВЕТ
Зачастую вы не знаете, каким будет свет до начала самого показа, пока не выйдет первая модель, но в любом случае ни за что не используйте вспышку во время показа. Контролируйте экспозицию за счет настроек камеры.
НАСТРОЙКИ
После того, как появился первый свет, выставите настройки за первые 2 секунды, чтобы не пропустить первый лук. Старайтесь не ставить выдержку длиннее, чем 1/200 , чтобы избежать смазанности во время движения. При необходимости, откройте диафрагму и поднимите ISO в зависимости от того, что вам позволяет камера.
Всегда снимайте в RAW, зачастую свет очень часто меняется во время шоу, поэтому у вас не будет возможности для каждого кадра выставить идеальную экспозицию вручную, но вы сможете исправить это на постпродакшене.

СЪЕМКА
Делайте кадр в начале/конце каждого шага, обычно они совпадают с ритмом музыки.
Shots should be taken at the beginning/end of every stride, which usually happens in sync with the music. Также при кадрировании, старайтесь не обрезать модель по суставам.
Делайте различные кадры, в полный рост, 3/4, close-up деталей, обуви, аксессуаров, портреты (особенно, если на модели одеты очки или интересные украшения или у нее интересный макияж или прическа).
Делайте несколько кадров для каждого лука на случай, если на фотографии будут закрыты глаза или модель окажется не в фокусе, у вас будет выбор.
ОБЩЕНИЕ
Уважайте других фотографов, не бойтесь знакомиться и общаться. Неделя моды - отличная возможность познакомиться с важными людьми и завести знакомства :)
