Hey, guys! I will quickly recap what has happened over the past 5 months;

 Since the last commission with Antonis, around January I returned to Greece as it was scheduled, within one month I relft again for the UK again but this time I was going to Reading, a small city just outside London.

 Ten days later, Greece started getting into lockdown mode; there were a lot of complications regarding the work I was about to start. There was one sensible thing to do and that was to return to Greece- again...

In the meantime the one month I was in Greece, I had one other small commission with fear’s constellation. 

 Coming back from Reading, things got even tougher, with the lockdown and a voluntary quarrantine in place; The first week of the quarrantine was unbearable,  I had to start planning my next project so I could keep my mind busy. So I came up with this new project. A portrait series shot in bot interior and exterior spaces. At this point of time I can not reveal much information as the project is still in the pre-production stage;

The only clue I can give as to what I am looking for is a small image taken from pinterest; The other thing that I can revael is that the material that I have gathered, will be used as influence and inspiration.

The Photo I have attached is a digital painting of a female knight; painted by: ImagineFX.

The purpose of this project is mainly to practice some light mixing and in the process why not give it somewhere or even exhibit it.

There are however some problems in regards to this project, the props, the location and the funds to find the props are the three main problems that I will need to solve before making another move and get into into production stage. 

The next update will be when I will have found out the total cost of the project, in regards to props, lighting, make up etc.

P.S. Stay inside, stay safe and be patient, I know that many of you, including myself want to be outside, because most of the influences come from outside, but please be patient as much as you can. read a book watch a movie listen to music, go for a walk if you’re allowed ( if you are not in quarantine ) It will clear you mind and will allow you to think better for new projects.

It all started when I meat Antonis as mentioned in the previous post in the restaurant I work. He called me one day, we went for coffee and we discussed the ideas he had in mind. I suggested that he sat down to take a look thoroughly in every idea and then contact me again. So two weeks later, another call comes through saying that he thought about everything and he is ready to proceed. He told me that he booked a rehearsals studio and that would pick me up. So it happened; Last Sunday, Antonis came and picked me up from work and bolted strait to the studio after a very short “snack-ravaging” stop... On our way there he said that he had booked the studio from 19:00 to 01:00pm! that meant we had five hours ahead of us... we started with a few photos and finished the session with some video recordings. Antonis was a fun guy to work with. He had the complete pack of a geek although in an older age; During the shoot he saw a few “unedited” photos and he immediately fell in love with them .

I on the other side of it, was amazed with how good his voice was. It only took me half a day to edit the photos we shot as there was not a dedicated photoshoot. 

One that “stayed” with me even after the shooting was this one here:

As you can see, composition wise, it’s a very simple yet effective. There are three main points of attention;  

The headphones

The shoe 

The bass amplifier. 

The colour scheme chosen for the specific image gives it a scent of “Advertisement”;  don’t you think?

Its not “cluttered”, which is very important for an image so it can be able to cross the message as smoothly as possible. 

Its first point of interest is positioned in the lower quarter of the rule of thirds

its beautifully balanced in almost every aspect.

Two days later I finished the first ou of the three videos we shot. I received a lots of nice comments from Antonis regarding the corrections, although I had not made a lot of them.  Three days later I got a review on my Facebook-page from Antonis regarding my work and he Also said that, he himself received a lot of comments about my work as to how nice they are.

This was I have to say a very very important step especially here in London, which I have been struggling to start setting a base of operations.
