PEG 400  prices plunge in the Ahmedabad chemical market, as per reliable sources in the chemical industry. The decline in prices can be attributed to the delicate regional demand for this widely used chemical compound. According to industry insiders, effective from July 14, 2023, PEG 400  prices in Ahmedabad have witnessed a notable decrease of Rs.3 per kilogram. Consequently, the newly introduced basic price for acetone stands at an attractive Rs.115 per kilogram.

DINP prices are slowly increasing in the Ahmedabadi market. According to Petrochem sources, strong regional demand has contributed to the price rise. On July 14, 2023, DINP domestic intact prices went up from Rs.133/Kg to Rs.134/Kg, an increase of Re.1/Kg. 

Petrochem sources in Mumbai have reported a rise in methylcyclohexane prices. It is confirmed that methylcyclohexane prices in the rubber market have increased due to tight product availability. Prices are expected to move further higher in the coming days. On July 13, 2023, methylcyclohexane prices in Mumbai were at Rs.127/Kg, an increase of Rs.2/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.125/Kg.

Prices of Caustic Soda flakes in the Mumbai market have surged today due to chronic product shortages. The price of domestic intact  Caustic Soda flakes has been raised to Rs 42 per kilogram, representing an Rs. 3/kg increase over the prior price of Rs.39 kg.

Carbon black grade N220 prices have climbed higher in Delhi. Trading sources confirmed that prices have been increasing due to the high demand for the material. On July 12, 2023, prices for Carbon Black Grade N220 imported repack went up from Rs.110/Kg to Rs.114/Kg, an increase of Rs.4/Kg.

Natural Latex remained high in Delhi today. Prices on July 12, 2023, were at Rs.115/Kg, an increase of Rs. 03/Kg from the previous price of Rs.112/Kg assessed on July 12, 2023.

Demand for Acetone in the Mumbai market has been strong, leading to an increase in its price. Petrochem sources have predicted that the cost of acetone will continue to rise. On July 07, 2023, the price of acetone per kilogram rose from Rs.95/ kg. to Rs.97/ kg, an increase of Rs.2/ kg.

An increase in toluene prices has been noted in Mumbai today. A growing demand contributed to the price rise. The current price of toluene imported repack at Mumbai is Rs.93 /Kg, an increase of Rs.3/ Kg, from the previous price of Rs.90/Kg.
