( in the dead of night, a flash of pink was sneaking around on the path to meiko's kitchen. and a tail gently tapped a certain orange dogfolk's door. )

Akito jolted at the sudden, albeit quiet noise, immediately shaken out of his state of half-sleep. He must had dozed off on the floor sometime between warding off nosy visitors and debating whether or not it was worth it to sneak into the kitchen, given the drool that had accumulated on the ground. He grimaced. Gross.
("god damn it, do these useless ears only work when they're not supposed to?? just who the hell is knocking on my door in the middle of the night??")
He growled to himself, rubbing at his eyes as he grouchily approached the door, ready to cuss out whoever it was that was bothering him at this hour. Despite his plans, he opened the door quietly as to not wake up any humans, or worse, another dogfolk.
"What the hell do you... want...?"
His voice trailed off upon seeing the small, pink haired cat in front of his door. He blinked in confusion. He had never talked to Emu before, having only known her as the scared catfolk who he deemed as someone he could easily win against in a fight, so her presence utterly perplexed him.
Following his usual train of thought, this would mean that he should be able to pick on her easily and make sure she doesn't bother him in the future, as there obviously wouldn't be any consequences for his actions if he eliminated any physical threats. However...
("jeez, i've definitely seen this otori around asahina, haven't i? if they're close, and he finds out about anything cruel i do to her...")
Akito shudders at the thought. He'd best play it safe for now.
"um... Good evening, Otori-san. Is there something you need?"
