Phonotonic is a new wearable smart object, this one focused on music.  Once you've hooked the phonotonic up to its app on your smartphone or tablet, all you have to do is start moving to make music!  As you can tell from the video, it doesn't really require much skill, just a bit of kinetic energy to get the melodies and rhythms flowing.

A great aspect of the phonotonic is that it isn't confined to the (pretty cool looking though it is!) case that it comes with.  You can attach the actual sensor to pretty much anything you want (that can move, of course) and let it make the music for you.  I'm personally pretty intrigued to hear what their idea of hooking it up to a cat would produce..!

I'm definitely itching to get my hands on one of these.  Whilst it does look like it'd be something better used with two or more people to kick off the music battles talked about in the video, I can imagine it'd be a fun time waster when used alone.
