reminded that when i was married i would try and say something to someone and my ex would "correct" me and when i tried to be like "no, it's actually like that" he would retort with "i dont think it is" because he always had to be right and i was too young to understand that it was just because he wanted to humiliate me and so i started responding with "youre right, i'm wrong, i'm done with this conversation" and one time i said it in front of my mom and older sister and they went "what the fuck thats not how thats supposed to go *he's* supposed to say that" and i just told them that if i tried to defend myself or anything it would lead to an argument so i just let it be
