A company of traveling actors perform traditional Chinese opera in a neighbourhood in Bangkok during a four day religious festival put on by the local Chinese community. The company comes the same time each year to perform. The stage is set up each evening after the stall owners of the market that normally takes up the ally close up. I was welcomed by the actors to shoot candidly back stage, even below stage.
