Red House at Bexleyheath, designed by William Morris with architect Philip Webb. Completed in 1859, Red House was a private residence until it was purchased by the British National Trust in 2002.
St George Cabinet, painted and gilded mahogany, pine, and oak, with copper mounts (1861–1862) The St George Cabinet is a famous collaboration between architect Philip Webb (1831–1915) and designer and painter William Morris (1834–1896). Created for the 1862 International Exhibition, Morris painted the scenes in the style of medieval bridal chests.
