Can you tell the difference between female and male Dulungan?  Both have yellow faces and black wings, but females have bluish-yellow faces and black heads, while males have dark red or “rufous” heads. Males also have more indentations on their bills. Both of them work together to raise their families in the forests of Panay and Negros, and nowhere else! The province of Antique in Panay declared August as Dulungan Month since 2020.
