Hey. Just saw your latest post about dealing with depression. You're not alone in that - I've been dealing with depression a lot myself recently. Some different medication has been helping, but I feel similarly about simply existing/surviving, and not really thriving. I don't draw (every time I try it looks like a 2-year old did it), but I do write fan fiction; my current project is about a young boy in the Pokémon world who gets abducted and his mind transferred to a Mewtwo clone. That's kinda stalled, and my current struggles with depression certainly aren't helping.
I want to express solidarity with you. You're far from alone in struggling with this plague of the 21st century. I wish I could help more beyond this but sadly it's all I can do.
I appreciate the thought nonetheless. ^^ Yeah...it might take some time to get out of this funk. I went back to playing video games recently, and it's been helping my mood a bit, but hey, a little bit is better than nothing. Keeps my mind from brooding and doom scrolling on my phone at least lol. As much as I want to go back to creating and drawing, it's not where my head's at atm.
I have a LOT of factors to my current predicament though, but most of it is medical, chronic illness, and some irl stresses. Doesn't help being unmedicated with all the shit I have...but I don't feel like pulling teeth with doctors who charge and ungodly amount for only 15 pills at a time. I made it 27 years without meds, I can keep going lol
I do wish you luck with your fanfic though, whenever you feel ready to return to it! It sounds interesting :3
