The decisions those make under pressure are interesting. Phi must have known the next step for the AB Project to achieve fruition. 

Sometimes, Sigma speaks to them through the treatment pod. Akane scolds him for it. There’s no time for sentimentality when the world’s at stake. He doesn’t understand what she had to sacrifice. 

But sometimes, when nobody’s around, she’ll observe her. Since they arrived at Dcom, her feelings have betrayed her. She’s supposed to marry Junpei with no qualms. 

Sometimes it’s nice to reject the feelings she’s compelled to portray.
