Alder and 2 father figures. One is his bio dad, the other is his ex boss who raised him for 7 years. He wasn't adopted by him but saw him as the closest thing he had to a dad for awhile before coming to his senses and seeing how bad of a person he was. He knew his biological father for the same amount of years he knew his boss. Both were fairly distant and disappointed in him frequently. Though His boss would praise Edwin to keep him motivated for work. He resents both.
