So like sexual dimorphism in yautja canon as far as I remember is like, females bigger and stronger and are matriarchal in society. I followed that for the most part with my own tweaks (specifically for the specific jungle variant that K'ao is)
In my headcanon, this development happens more in the females but when they have surplus of nutrients and favorable conditions, they start to develop horns or antlers depending on the region. Horns/antlers are a very desirable trait in mates bcs it shows their prosperity or whateverrr

I just thought of a critter and wanted to add it so what the hell. Behaviorally they're like coyotes, they have scent gland thingies like Muntjac deer, and are usually river dwelling, built for being up in the mud, the sensory organs in their head help them "see" since their eyesight is terrible
