Phels:  “Fascinating!  Yarolis NoFrolsuhu, as known as the Spitting Vine to the locals, expels a viscous liquid with a sulfur like odor when threat!  I do hope you are taking this all down, Rhys!” Rhys: *whining and gagging intensifies*

This is Phels U’Oechi, who is currently funding and leading an research expedition to occupy his time during his banishment.  In hindsight it was not the best idea to publicly back the coupe to remove his cousin off the throne of his home world.  Especially when the coupe failed miserably.  Well, he might have lost his title, but at least he still has his botany hobby.  Rhys is his personal attendant, and also serves as his research assistant.  Even though she always ends up doing most of the work, on top of her other duties.
