#phazole

This is all i managed to do art wise today

I ended up developing Phazole’s design/ concept a little more. Since he’s part of a hive of sorts, I dubbed my main one the ‘Alpha’ Phazole. Alpha’s are few and far bewteen. The Queens strongest warriors.

‘Lesser’ Phazoles take up most of the hive. Smaller in height and smaller features (Spikes, shoulder chitin, etc.)

I based the Lesser ones off of Samus’s ‘Power Armor’, cos it felt the most natural way to make em : P (and if it wasn’t clear at first- this is a Poipole + Dark Samus fusion) Phazoles can range from a few select colors- Using the color wheel, they can be from Magenta to Blue. Purple is the most common. However orange is an extremely rare color (ala orange phazon from MP1)

I came up with the idea for a queen for Phazole's kind~

I did an anthro version of Phazole~ To better design the shell/chitin armor

His head chitin is composed of 2 shells. They can crack open and a poisonous sac swells up- once it explodes, poisonous goop and needles fly everywhere. This doesn’t affect it’s actual head- and the sac and spikes can regrow. Weird alien things that only alien science can teach us-
