PHAZE I Featuring SOILWORK Drummer To Release Sophomore AlbumĀ
PHAZE I, the violent brainchild ofĀ David PotvinĀ (LYZANXIA) and his brotherĀ Franck PotvinĀ (LYZANXIA) as well as friendĀ Dirk Verbeuren(SOILWORK,Ā DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT), will release its sophomore album in October viaĀ Trepan Records/Wormholedath.Ā PHAZE IĀ has been years in the making, theĀ PotvinsĀ working on this ferocious side project in between theirĀ LYZANXIAĀ albums and gigs. It finally came fully into fruition in 2005 whenĀ DavidĀ (vocals, guitar, bass),FranckĀ (vocals, guitar) andĀ DirkĀ (drums) managed to set some time aside together to record the firstĀ PHAZE IĀ album atĀ David'sĀ The Dome Studio. Soon after completing its self-titled debut,Ā PHAZE IĀ signed a deal withScarlet Records. The record was mastered byĀ Peter In De BetouĀ atTailor Made Studios.Ā Now, in mid-2013,Ā PHAZE I's second CD is ready to pulverize the earth. Drums were recorded atĀ Dirk'sĀ Die CrawlingĀ studio. The rest of the album was produced byĀ DavidĀ atĀ The Dome StudioĀ in 2012.
