Phat Carl is ready to go! Shake down run cometh today. I changed out the PBX’s for the Bravensides I used at the 48 Hour Challenge. I need a heavy truck to break these tires in well, and they look better on this size build. Excited to see if the changes have helped it a lot or a little, or dear God why didn’t I do this sooner! Working on Phat Carl a little bit. Been slow here at the shop with subzero temps, so not a lot of building. I think that I will slam my STL Servo winch right here, and make sure phatty C can get pulled out of any situation! Nice strong front end, and should add a little more weight up front. I had an awesome time with #phatcarl at #hillsideraceway today on their comp course!! The little bulls did awesome, but the traction was real, after snapping a 3rd driveshaft, I called it! Haha That big ole blazer body hit every rock, while every bumper hugged ever rock too! It was a blast though! I got my 1st win in Class 1 in my 1st sorrca style event! It was an awesome course, and it was so much fun to be able to come and run without having to do anything other than to wheel! The @rc4wd tf2 with @pitbullxrc pbx's were steady all day!! The @lockeduprc Recluse wheels held the bead all day with this heavy truck and off camber sections. Beads were peeling all day, but not on #phatcarl! The #NDRC event was AWESOME!! #radiocontrolledeastcoast #pitbulltires #rc4wd #rcec #lurc
