initially i thought the best way to explain comfort vs. fashionability in clothing would be a basic ass venn diagram, however, this implies that there are equal amounts of data to both sides and the centre is evenly portioned, something that simply isn’t true. as such, i’m introducing this scatterplot of data i’ve compiled over the past five minutes, which presents an extraordinary attention to detail, as i’m certain any of you can gather from even briefly glancing at it.

as we can see, there are plenty of points on this graph that represent fashionable clothing, with only a few meeting somewhere in the middle. there’s noticeably less data supporting clothes being comfortable, and of course there’s the outlier that is the renown “birthday suit”. these two subjects only occasionally overlap, and exhibit low correlation.
