Regret (Sombra x Pharah)
The hacker's nails drummed against the desktop as she sat there watching the fallout from Talon's attack on the prison. They'd been incredibly successful. Which was great for Talon, but for her... well she was sitting there waiting to see if Fareeha was still alive. It took every ounce of willpower for her not to save the Security Chief after she'd hacked her suit while she was flying into the open hatch of the Talon dropship. Her heart had sunk into her gut watching her fall from the sky and in that moment she'd wanted nothing more than to toss her translocator and save her, but that would ruin everything she'd worked for. Talon would want her head on a silver platter, and Helix would arrest her the second she touched the ground. Her decision to not help Fareeha had left her full of heartache and regret so here she sat waiting to see if Fareeha was alive. She knew Helix Securities would have to make some sort of statement about what had happened, who'd escaped, and who had died. The news coverage was scarce and hard to find, but she had every bit of it playing out across the monitors in front of her. It seemed like Helix was trying to cover up what had happened and save themselves the international embarrassment of admitting they weren't as secure as everyone thought they were. She knew the Security Chief may never forgive her for the betrayal, but she needed to know that she was alive. When she finally caught a glimpse of Fareeha walking out to the podium to make a statement on behalf of her team the hacker couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
