[ Yusuke watched silently as the other boy spoke, wanting to make sure that Mishima got out every word that he wanted to say. Yusuke had not yet joined the Phantom Thieves for the first case of Kamoshida so he couldn’t speak from the experience of the events. However, he had heard enough about it through the media and his friends to know that there was one thing for sure; the only person at fault was Kamoshida himself. ]
[ Before speaking, Yusuke reached out his hand to place on Mishima’s shoulder in order to both stop him from leaving, and to comfort him. ]
Do not fret, Mishima-san. It is not a bother to listen to you vent your frustrations on such a difficult time in your life. The situation you were in would make anyone feel as though they were trapped between a rock and a hard spot. No one would, or should, blame you for your lack of action because it was completely reasonable. If it is of any consolation at all, I was informed that you were the sole member of the volleyball team that spoke up on the matter. Despite all the pressing that Akira and Ryuji did on both the girls and boys teams, no one else said a single word. So in my eyes, you were most definitely the one of the bravest individuals present.
Regardless, what has passed is past. The situation was resolved neatly enough thanks to the help of the Phantom Thieves. What is truly important now, is how you take these experiences to act accordingly the next time undesirable events transpire.
