Undertaker Lore? (wwe)
I always wondered if someone made a fic where all versions of the Taker met each other. Even the one that was momentarily human. Undead mortician, masked taker, cult leader, american badass, and the final version.
The funny thing about the American Badass is that I recall him returning to the darkness to become final form Undertaker. I'm pretty sure there was a whole promo video where he was in a graveyard or something. He was in his American Badass attire as well, which makes it more interesting.
How did he become human-ish? Was it after the undead mortician period? How did he go from autistic coded mortician to 'why he kinda 🫦' cult leader?
The one who got a consistent storyline (according to my memory) is Kane. He went from sympathetic baby who got betrayed by those around him. And then came the attitude era where he was still masked, but you could see that X-Pac kind of rubbed off on Kane, because he would sometimes be the voice of reason to Undertaker and be unintentionally comedic. And then he was forced to take off his mask, and it was like a switch was flipped for multiple psychological reasons.
What if it's like a multiverse situation? Everything is the same, but there are a few key differences.
One universe there is no Kane, except the Undertaker himself (because it was originally his gimmick's first name: Kane the Undertaker). Another universe has masked taker. Another is a cult leader. And so on and so forth.
Every Kane, or most of them, are the same. Could even be a thing where there's 2 American badasses, and one of them has cooperate Kane. They are either completely human, or their human form is a shell/cocoon (literally). Think Ogre and True Ogre from Tekken.
I'm just wondering, am I the only one who's thought of this. Probably not, but I'm hoping this post will find someone who can share their own thoughts.
Also, does anyone think mortician Taker and mask Kane would get along? Two quiet boo things. Taker might be surprised he has a little brother that shares his name. He might be indifferent, but he won't be a dick about it.
In fact, what if mortician Taker is a combined version of regular Taker and Kane? Especially with that red hair.
One of the reasons the WWE ditched the violence, blood, and mature content during their PG era was because of Linda McMahon becoming a politician and the WWE was concerned their edgy content would make Linda look back and lose an election, yet Linda ended up working for the sleazy Donald Trump.
Y'all don't dream about wrestlers too, do y'all? I hope ya'll haven't. I dream about a handful of wrestlers from time to time, i'm quite freaked out by them, the dreams and some of the wrestlers that is. Reason i'm posting is, i just woke up from my nap a few minutes ago and that's exactly what happened while i was asleep.

Goodbye WWE PG-era
I miss the days of WWE when all of the wrestlers had these larger than life personalities. I feel like that's part of what has ruined the WWE in recent years. It seems like in an effort to make things more "realistic" and "relatable", they've made almost everyone interchangeable. I grew up watching the attitude era. All of the wrestlers had distinct gimmicks and there was no way to confuse one for the other. Why? Because their gimmick was reflected in how they walked, talked and wrestled. At that point it was slightly more grounded in reality (slightly being the operative word, we still did have Kane, the Undertaker and Mankind in the mix), but everyone was still their own person. Now it feels like everyone cuts the same promo. The faces are always the doormat underdogs and the heels are always these unbeatable forces. What happened to The Rock running around calling everyone jabronis and telling people to shut their mouths? Or Stone Cold saying he just whooped someone's ass? I've seen people complaining about when Sasha Banks would use, "You can bank on that," in her promos about how she said it all the time and it's just, it's a catchphrase!!!!! Wrestlers used to use them ALL the time. In fact, some had more than a few. It's just part of the character. I don't know. WWE wonders why they can't build stars anymore and it's pretty obvious. It's hard to stand out when you're being made to be like everyone else. Racking up a ton of wins doesn't make a star in the wrestling world (well, yes and no. Asuka's booking is a good counterpoint to my argument). What does make a star is being good in the ring AND having a personality.
