Stop number 3... this was not a long one for me. I was still sick from the day before, but was sooooo thankful to see a Walgreens as soon as we hit port! I drank about 32oz of Gatorade and didn’t eat anything the entire time I was on the island. Everyone tells me that I didn’t miss much, but I still wish I could have experienced it by myself. Feeling sick and being away from home is an awful feeling, and if I’m being honest I just wanted my mom. Yes I am an adult who was ready to go home and see her own mom. I’m sure you all have experienced something similar. Missing the familiarity, the comfort from someone who promised to care for you unconditionally without question. I hope to return one day with our little baby and fully enjoy the experience and get to eat and drink in the birth place of the piña colada!
