In a parallel universe where the third season of Sailor Moon was balanced regarding the villains' screentime, the Witches 5 would have had an equal number of Daimons and episodes, and the three main bosses their own personal Daimons to summon.
If only, if only...
Comparison of the Witches 5 eyes! (90s anime)
Despite being similar (without pupils, glossy doll-like eyes), they are still different when it comes to shape, shading and the lighting effects.

Ptilol: Cyprine!
プチロル: シプリン!
Puchiroru: Shipurin!
Something interesting I noticed about Cyprine is that her twin tail isn't always on the same side when she appears as a shadowy silhouette. As you can see, Cyrine and Ptilol have their braids on opposite sides: Cyprine on the right side, Ptilol on the left side. But as a shadow, Cyprine's braid is either on the right side or the left side. What if it's not always Cyprine appearing as a shadow, but sometimes Ptilol? After all, as shadows, we do not see the colors, so there is no other want to distinguish between the twins other than which side the braid is.
Here specifically, we can see the braid is on the right side, therefore it's safe to assume it is indeed Cyprine. But here, the braid is on the left side.
Whatever the side it's on remains consistent for all the scene, and one of those scenes in particular (the Witches 5 working on the lab) is shown in multiple scenes, so if it was an animation mistake, I'd assume it would have been fixed for that scene since it's on the "wrong side". But no. The lack of correction and how consistent it is led me to believe it is not a mistake, but intentional. This has to be Ptilol, not Cyprine.
The most flagrant scene is in Cyprine actual episode, the scene where she is taunting Kaolinite. At first, we can see Tomoe is with Cyprine. But second after, the girl with him has red hair. Could it be Ptilol? If so, when did she suddenly appear? But also, why didn't Cyprine and Ptilol ever appear together until the reveal that they were twins?
Cyprine should be the one on the left, Ptilol on the right
What if the reason is the same that would explain how Cyprine and Ptilol switched places in that scene above? What if both twins actually share the same body? As in, Ptilol doesn't have a separate body. Cyprine and Ptilol alternate between who is in charge of the body, and the hair color would change accordingly. The side of the braid would probably require the twin to redo it on the other side, since it seems like "Ptilol" with Tomoe has her braid on the right side, like Cyprine. If she had just switched, that'd make sense she still has her hair like Cyprine.
They do appear together later, but that might be only possible once they are in their witch form. Ptilol also only appeared once Cyprine opened another dimension, so it might be that her being able to be physically there is related to said dimension. Regardless, the point still stands that they might be switching places, judging by the side of the braid is on.
